The hazards associated with speeding are something we're all taught when we first get behind the wheel of a car, but not matter how many time we're warned, there are still plenty of us who choose to take the risk. One Nissan GT-R driver in Russia recently got a firsthand lesson on the dangers of speeding after he decided to take on a city highway at 200 MPH. What started out as a fun adventure, however, quickly went south when he blew out his front right tire - an incident that could have been disastrous.
Producing an astounding 800 horsepower, the Russian driver's modified GT-R would have been better suited on a closed track than a public highway. Luckily, there were very few cars on the road when the reckless daredevil decided to test out the sports car's speed, so when the tire blew out, no other vehicles were around. In the video of the mishap, you can hear the tire pop and see a flash of light as shrapnel breaks the front headlight. The driver then begins to slow down, while somehow maintaining control of the car, and eventually comes to a complete stop on the side of the road.
