“Motown: The Musical” has taken the U.S. by storm, receiving rave reviews from both critics and the public. AP calls it “stunning,” The New York Times calls it “a joy ride,” and more than a few other publications have also chimed in to sing its praises.

Soon the “Motown” tour will make a stop in Dallas, Texas, at the AT&T Performing Arts Center’s Winspear Opera House and it’s a show you won’t want to miss, especially if you love the old-school sounds and fascinating history of the Motown record label. It’s where artists like Smokey Robinson, Diana Ross, The Jackson 5 and Marvin Gaye got their start, and the show features a long list of musical numbers from these and other artists, so you’re sure to hear more than a few of your favorites.

The Charles Randolph-Wright directed Broadway musical is based on Berry Gordy’s autobiography - “To Be Loved: The Music, the Magic, the Memories of Motown.” The story revolves around Gordy, who founded Motown records, and explores the friendships developed and odds faced when he and his artists strived to change the soundtrack of America.

Performances of “Motown: The Musical” will be held from July 28 through Aug. 16, 2015. To reserve your tickets, click here to visit ATTPAC online, then select a date under “Choose Performance” in the upper right box and click “Buy Tickets” to view available seating.
