If you stopped by Trophy Nissan last month, you probably noticed that all of our staff was clad in pink! What was supposed to be a one-day event to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month turned into a month-long display of support when we decided that we’d wear pink every day in October.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month has passed, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still show your support. The National Breast Cancer Foundation collects donations year round and the money is used in a variety of important ways, from providing services to those suffering from the disease to funding essential breast cancer research and more. Just a few of their services include in-person breast cancer detection training, educational video modules, “Beyond the Shock” resources and the National Mammographic Program, which provides free mammograms and diagnostic breast cancer services across the country.
