The 2017 Nissan Pathfinder has earned a 5-star rating as a part of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s New Car Assessment Program. A big achievement for the new SUV, the previous Pathfinder took home the 5-star rating every year since 2014, leaving the 2017 model with big shoes to fill.

Forward Emergency Braking, Intelligent Cruise Control, Moving Object Detection, Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert are just a few of the driver-assist technologies offered on the SUV. It also comes with Nissan Advanced Airbag System, front seat-mounted side-impact airbags, roof-mounted curtain airbags, Traction Control and Vehicle Dynamic Control.
