Nissan Reveals Z GT4 Race Car

The GT4 is a race-bred, track-focused version of Nissan's iconic Z sports car. This car is designed for track enthusiasts who want to go fast but still have a comfortable ride. The GT4 was built from the ground up as a lightweight race car. This allows racers to put down maximum horsepower while maintaining an optimal weight distribution for a race car.

Exterior Appearance and Styling

The GT4 has a carbon fiber hood and rear spoiler, which hold the lightweight wheels in place. The race car was built with help from Nismo, Nissan's racing arm. This is recognizable in the GT4's trademarked rear wing and the aggressive front end of the car. A large scoop on the hood allows cool air to enter the engine bay while maintaining a race-ready weight distribution. Adjustable damper units are designed to be balanced both on and off-road. These units can be adjusted so that the car can be set up for a street car or something more aggressive. The GT4 also has an adjustable rear wing to adapt its aerodynamic balance on the road.

Interior

The interior of the Nissan Z GT4 features Recaro/fixed race seats. These seats are purpose-built and durable without compromising comfort. An adjustable racing harness allows race drivers to get comfortable in their seats while taking full advantage of the car's power. A pair of small, fixed-position seats are installed in the back for passengers. The GT4 has a racing steering wheel and a host of electronic instruments which are easy to read from the driver's seat. The driver is also given an adjustable steering column and a complete instrumentation package with a digital display screen. Another screen is also installed on the center console to keep racers up to date with their lap times and speed.

Power and Performance

The Nissan Z GT4 has a powerful twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 engine that produces over 400 horsepower. This engine is a racing version of the Z's standard powerplant. The race car is also fitted with a six-speed sequential shift transmission, allowing racers to take advantage of the high power output. This power can be transmitted through an advanced limited slip differential to provide a racing car's handling characteristics. This car has an exhaust system made from titanium and other high-strength materials to reduce weight in the engine bay while maintaining race-winning performance.

The chassis consists of aluminum and composite material. This helps to keep the weight down while still being able to withstand intense racing conditions. The brake system is also designed to keep the car's weight low while providing efficient braking in all driving situations. This includes street cars, autocross, and racing on the race track.

Safety

The car's substantial safety features include four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, self-leveling rear suspension, active rollover protection, and stability control with traction control. The driver assistance technology available includes Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. An optional Driver Alert Warning System is also available. Drivers can select from various driving modes to adjust the car's performance, handling, and torque distribution.

The GT4 is built to handle all kinds of driving situations, whether you're out for a Sunday drive or driving through an intense race. Visit our showroom to learn more about the Nissan Z GT4 and experience it yourself.
