Specs at a Glance

The Nissan Murano is mostly unchanged in 2021 compared to the prior year. However, it still makes a name for itself as a sharp-looking, and attractive SUV that contains cutting-edge safety amenities offers all-wheel drive, and has a functional, comfortable, and tech-savvy cabin that has all the conveniences you need to stay connected and entertained no matter where you go.

There are four trims offered if you select the Nissan Murano in 2021. The first trim level in the lineup is the S, which comes with a healthy list of standard amenities. More features are added with trims higher up the line, including the SL trim level, which is the third of four Murano trims for 2021. Both trims have extra available options if you want more than the standard list of features.

Performance

You'll find that the 2021 Nissan Murano has the same engine in 2021 that it did before, and power is the same for the S and SL trim levels. With the Murano comes a capable V-6 engine under the hood that delivers 260 HP in top power. The Nissan also has a CVT automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard for the Nissan across the board, but all trims are available to get all-wheel drive for extra traction and more predictable handling instead. The Nissan Murano can pull up to 1,500 pounds.

Appearance

The S and SL are available with some additional exterior colors in 2021, including Boulder Gray, Magnetic Black, and Scarlet Ember. With the S trim, you will get 18-inch wheels, while the SL upgrades to 20-inch wheels. The wheels on both trims have an alloy finish, and they come with all-season tires. The SL has some additional appearance enhancements, including roof rails and LED fog lights. Both trims have standard LED headlights with automatic daytime running lights. A motion-activated power liftgate is another standard feature that comes with the SL trim level.

Features

An abundance of amenities are standard for the S and SL trim levels. The S has an eight-inch infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You can adjust the driver's seat in six ways for comfort. Two USB ports, including a USB-C port in the second row, allow for fast and convenient device charging. The SL trim adds a Bose sound system and an enhanced infotainment system with navigation. It also has ambient interior lighting. Both trims have Nissan's Safety Shield package with six driver-assist safety aids.
