After receiving a complete redesign last year, the seventh-generation Sentra continues to keep up with the most current trends and consumer needs by offering minor but important revisions for 2014. Shoppers can find the new Nissan Sentra for sale near Dallas in S, SV, SR and SL trim levels, as well as FE+ (fuel-economy enhanced) versions of the S and SV. This year, all models receive new lower cushion storage pockets on the front seats, while a sliding front armrest is now standard on the SL, and has also been added to the optional Driver Package for SV and SR models.
The standard powertrain on all trims is a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 130 horsepower and 128 lb.-ft. of torque. A six-speed manual transmission comes paired with the V-6 on S trims, while all other models get a standard automatic CVT transmission. With the CVT, the sedan achieves an impressive 39 mpg highway and this number is bumped up to 40 mpg highway on FE+ models.
