Mesquite Dealer Researching the New Altima Altima
The 2016 Nissan Altima has received a significant makeover this year. It now features Nissan's newly launched "Energetic Flow" design language, along with a new V-motion grille, fenders, LED headlights, an aggressive front fascia and crisp character lines. On top these exterior modifications, the midsize sedan also offers new technologies, a collection of available safety features and a brand-new Altima SR model. The new SR Altima model available this year is a standout addition to the lineup. It comes with paddle shifters, unique suspension tuning, a rear spoiler, sport interior accents, 18-inch alloy wheels and smoked headlights, which buyers will find appealing. Aside from the new model, the 2016 Nissan Altima in Mesquite receives a new cupholder design, C-stack, soft-touch materials and Zero Gravity seats inside the vehicle, as well as standard Siri Eyes Free and NissanConnect with Mobile Apps. Several advanced safety features, including Intelligent Cruise Control, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Forward Emergency Braking and Blind Spot Monitoring, are also available across the lineup.
A 182-horsepower 2.5L four-cylinder engine is outfitted on all 2.5 models of the 2016 Nissan Altima in Mesquite. The powerplant is matched with a continuously variable transmission and is able to deliver 180 lb.-ft. of torque. Delivering 31 mpg combined, 27 city and 39 highway, the standard Altima model is incredibly fuel efficient, benefiting drivers who want to save money on gas. The SR model also produces an excellent EPA-estimated 30 mpg combined, 26 city and 37 highway. The 3.5 Altima models, which sport a 3.5L V6 and generate 270 horsepower and 251 lb.-ft. of torque, also achieve an EPA-estimated 26 mpg combined, 22 city and 32 highway, which are excellent numbers.
