Nissan Altima Maintenance Schedule

A reliable and dependable vehicle depends on routine service and maintenance provided by a trustworthy dealership like Trophy Nissan. If you're located in the Mesquite area, we want to make sure that you have everything you need to keep your vehicle running smoothly. In addition to checking your owner's manual for information on your recommended Nissan Altima service intervals, you can take a look at the following schedule from our dealership.

10,000-Mile Service

After being driven for approximately 10,000-miles, your brakes may need attention that focuses on your brake lines, cables, rotors, and pads. We want to make sure that you're safe, so we also take a look at your tires. An inspection of tread depth, air pressure, and integrity of the tires is essential.

All-wheel drive models should be inspected to check for issues with the propeller shaft, which could cause an improper amount of power to be transferred from the engine to the driving wheels. Differential gear oil and transfer case oil should be inspected and topped off.

To ensure that your vehicle will reliably start, we check your battery terminal, cables, etc. We want to make sure that your battery is fully charged, that it can charge and that it can hold a charge. Filters inside of your engine and cabin should be changed.

30,000-Mile Service

Take a look at your brakes again; we pay extra attention to your pads and rotors to see if there are signs of wear. We may need to replace your brake fluid, which wasn't necessary before this point. An inspection of your exhaust system, axle, suspension parts, and driveshaft boots will confirm that everything under your vehicle is in working order.

60,000-Mile Service

It's common for issues to occur within your fuel tank vapor vent system and fuel lines when you've hit 60,000-miles. Various connections can require replacement before more complicated problems arise. We also check belts and hoses.

105,000-Mile Service

Replacing your spark plugs is a necessary part of vehicle maintenance when your Nissan Altima is aging. We also recommend that you replace the coolant in your engine for proper temperature control.

Be aware that your maintenance and service frequency also relies on the trim level and features you have. It's best to go with the Nissan Altima maintenance schedule outlined in your owner's manual. Contact Trophy Nissan for more information or to schedule an appointment.
