In honor of the upcoming release of the next-generation Titan, Nissan has decided to give its fans a glimpse into how the Titan came to be with the "Nissan Titan Truckumentary." A multi-chapter story, the truckumentary takes an in-depth look at the full-size pickup and the production process of the all-new Cummins diesel-powered model.

The first chapter of Nissan's "Titan Truckumentary" is narrated by Brent Hagan, the product planner for the next-generation Nissan Titan. He kicks off the series by diving into Nissan's past, exploring the automaker's truck history at the Lane Motor Museum in Nashville, Tenn. The first truck introduced to viewers is the 1983 Nissan Job 1Truck. A significant part of the brand's heritage, the Job 1Truck was the very first Nissan built in the U.S., debuting on June, 16, 1983. Next, Hagan highlights the 160 Datsun 1200, which was one of the first models sold by Nissan under the Datsun name in America. Additionally, we get a close-up look at the 1967 Datsun Patrol, CORR Off Road Racing Nissan Frontier, Nissan Bonneville Race Truck, 1990 Nissan Gobi Concept and 1999 Nissan SUT Concept, among others. To see all the trucks featured in chapter 1 of the truckumentary, check out the full-length video above.
