Kelley Blue Book's 12 Best Family Cars are selected based on factors like ease of use, design, features and overall practicality. Taking three spots on the list is a big deal for Nissan, as it further emphasizes the brand's commitment to enhancing fun and functionality for families in need of a capable people carrier.

What KBB.com had to say about the Nissan Altima:

Editors stated that the Altima's key appeal for families is space, calling the sedan roomy, comfortable and good looking. Furthermore, when testing out the sedan's driving dynamics, several editors stated that the midsize 4-door was fun to drive.

KBB.com's thoughts on the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder:

In their overview of the Pathfinder, editors said the LATCH AND GLIDE second row is one of the SUV's top features, and something that families will really appreciate. Additionally, they noted that the SUV "puts family first" with plenty of room for passengers and cargo.

KBB.com's analysis of the 2014 Rogue:
