We’ve written about the all-new 2016 Nissan Titan XD before, but previously only shared specs and photos. Now you can get to know the truck in a more sensory way: through sound. Its Cummins Turbo-Diesel V-8 engine is big news for truck enthusiasts, and with the recent release of a new sound clip from Nissan, you can have its ignition sound set as your ringtone - or anything else you desire.
The clip, which you can listen to here, is a recording of the engine as it starts then sits in idle. If you want to download it, all you have to do is right click on the preceding link and choose either “Save target as” or “Save link as.” The phrase varies by browser.
Until the new 2016 Titan XD arrives at Trophy Nissan this fall, you can enjoy the full-bodied sound of its engine’s whirring from your phone. The new XD model offers a larger wheelbase than the standard 2016 Titan (also available later this year) and comes exclusive with the diesel engine, too.
