Kick off the season right by attending the “Summer Sizzle” festival at Paschall Park on Saturday, June 11, 2016. Offering free entry, this exciting local event will feature a range of fun activities for kids and adults, including games, contests, live music and a world record attempt for all attendees to take part in!

This year’s “Summer Sizzle” festival will offer plenty of entertainment for all ages. From noon to 10:30 p.m., guests will be able to enjoy live music from likes of Memphis Soul, Cold as Ice and Infinite Journey, compete in a mud volleyball tournament, participate in a BBQ cook-off and take part in a world record attempt for the most people to dance the Whip/Nae Nae. A Kids Activity Zone, offering pony rides, a petting zoo and inflatables, will also be accessible to the little ones for a small fee and several local food trucks will be onsite to appease your appetite. Attendees will also get the chance to cap off the night watching a firework display, providing the perfect end to the day’s festivities.
