Nissan has added a new model to its Sentra lineup: The 2017 Nissan Sentra NISMO, which was recently unveiled at the annual Los Angeles Auto Show. Sporty, fast and well-equipped, the car is the latest addition to the motorsports-inspired NISMO lineup.

"For 2017, we're bringing new excitement to Sentra with the Sentra NISMO, which brings driving enthusiasts aftermarket tuner-style performance straight from the factory," said Michael Bunce, vice president, Product Planning, Nissan North America, Inc.

The five-passenger sedan is powered by the engine found in the Sentra SR Turbo – a 188-horsepower 1.6-liter turbocharger that produces 177 pound-feet of torque. A 6-speed manual transmission is offered, while an Xtronic continuously variable automatic comes standard.

Climb inside the new model and you’ll notice red-and-black accents on the push-button start, carpets, shifter and instrument panel. There’s also microsuede-and-leather-wrapped steering for added style and comfort.

Outside, the 2017 Sentra NISMO gets a “layered double wing” body kits that enhances its aerodynamic body style. Other upgrades include chrome door handles, black mirror caps, a dark-chrome grille and NISMO badges on the front and rear of the vehicle.

Other than this new model, the car comes in five more grades, including S, SV, SR, SR Turbo and SL. To learn more about the new Sentra, please visit our store for a test drive!
