Sporty, functional style starts with the 2017 Nissan Rogue. This year, the compact crossover gets a new face, enhanced interior elements and additional safety gear. The five- or seven-passenger vehicle, depending on which model you choose, also gets a second powertrain option that will be offered on the new Rogue Hybrid model, which we’ll talk about later in this article.
But first things first. On the outside, the Rogue features a revised front fascia, which features a dramatic version of Nissan’s V-Motion grille that can be found on many other new Nissan models, like Sentra, Maxima and Pathfinder. Other notable exterior enhancements include chrome-like accents on the door bottoms, which add a classy touch to the vehicle’s overall appearance.
The vehicle is well-appointed at all three trims: base Rogue S, SV and top-of-the-line SL. The SV now gets standard heated cloth seats and remote start, while the SL gains top-notch safety systems like automatic high-beam assist and a convenient motion-activated liftgate. Every new Rogue comes with Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, hill-start assist and sporty 17-inch alloys.
As noted up top, the Rogue gets a new hybrid model for the current model year. Its electric/four-cylinder 2-liter engine is good for up to 141 horses and 144 pound-feet of torque. It comes standard with a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
With its stop-traffic good looks and high-end features, the Rogue makes the perfect travel companion. Find out more about this dynamic crossover by seeing it in person at Trophy Nissan!
