From 4-7 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 29, you’re invited to come honor those who have passed away at our city’s Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) event that is set to be held at Mesquite Arts Center. This meaningful gathering is not only a way to show our respect for those who have died, but it is also an opportunity to enjoy some fun-filled activities that the whole family will enjoy.
Featuring live music, face painting and sugar skull decorating, this cultural affair has something special to offer everyone who attends. A variety of delicious dishes will also be made available for purchase, so remember to come with an appetite.
Guests are encouraged to bring personal items to add to the community altar, which will serve as a focal point for honoring those who have left this world. A way to celebrate the lives of the deceased with great food, drinks and dancing, Dia de los Muertos is a special holiday that is sure to leave a lasting impression on all who partake in its various activities.
