
What better way to celebrate fall then by attending PumpkinFest 2016 in Mesquite? This family-favorite festival will once again return to our city on Saturday, Oct. 15. It will feature plenty of fun-filled activities that are sure to bring smiles to the faces of all who attend.
Now in its 16th year, PumpkinFest will have things like a decorated pumpkin contest, carnival games, bounce houses and community stage performances. In addition, be sure to have your little one take part in the costume contest at 4 p.m. Feel free to bring your furry friend along too and have him participate in the dog costume contest at 5 p.m.
Admission is free, however, tickets will be sold for the petting zoo and pony rides. Registration for the pumpkin decorating contest is on the day of the event, Oct. 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lakeside Activity Center, located at 101 Holley Park Drive.
Be sure to come dressed for the weather, and don’t forget to bring your camera to capture memories of a lifetime at the 16th annual PumpkinFest!
