trophy nissan sets guinness world record title

Trophy Nissan is proud to announce that on Sunday, May 7, 2017, our dealership made history. We were able to set a new Guinness World Record Title for having more than 250 Nissan cars, trucks and SUVs in a parade.

Hundreds of locals teamed up to help our dealership achieve this goal. The parade included a wide range of new and used Nissan cars, trucks and SUVs – all clean and looking their best. The 2.3-mile parade kicked off at Lake Ray Hubbard Bus Station in Garland and ended here at our dealership, located at 5031 North Galloway in Mesquite. One by one, the Nissan models rolled in and were greeted by cheers and applauds from the large crowd.

After the parade was over, Guinness World Record officials gave their final stamp of approval and announced that we achieved our goal of setting a new world record title.

“It was a very momentous and exciting day for all of us,” General Sales Manager of Trophy Nissan Jennifer Carroll said. “We would like to thank all of those who participated, as we couldn’t have done it without you.”

After Carroll was presented with the Guinness World Record certificate, attendees had the chance to indulge in a variety of free food samples from local vendors, including Kona Ice and La Botana. Two local radio stations, 106.1 and 94.1, were also present, playing a variety of beats while giving out free gifts: kid’s bikes, international soccer team jerseys, Trophy Nissan t-shirts and more.

To all of our proud Nissan owners and area businesses who took part in this special day, thank you!
