Powerful Work Truck Features

As we said above, there are three models in the 2017 TITAN lineup, with the main differences between them coming in cabin size, bed length and engine power. Standard features on the 2017 Nissan TITAN near Dallas include everything from cab-mounted LED bed lights, power accessories and vinyl flooring to remote locking and unlocking, 18-inch steel wheels, a lockable damped tailgate and Bluetooth connectivity.

Of the trims available, the TITAN PRO-4X is the most performance oriented, with amenities like a seven-pin wiring harness connector, a lockable rear differential, a spray-in bedliner and skid plates. The range-topping Platinum Reserve trim is recommended by 2017 Nissan TITAN reviews due to luxury equipment like dark chrome exterior trim, a heated steering wheel, upgraded leather upholstery, ventilated front seats and unique wheels.

High-End Performance

There are two engine options on the 2017 TITAN: a 5.6-liter V8 and a 5.0-liter Cummins turbo-diesel V8. The standard V8 produces a hefty 390 horses and 394 lb.-ft. of torque, while the diesel V8 outputs 310 horsepower and 555 lb.-ft. of torque. The standard TITAN can now tow up to 9,300 pounds, and comes with a seven-speed automatic transmission and the option of either four- or rear-wheel drive.

Advanced Safety & Protection

Shoppers looking at the 2017 Nissan TITAN will also find that the pickup is packed with several excellent safety features like full-length side curtain airbags, front-seat side airbags, antilock brakes and hill start assist. Those who choose the TITAN PRO-4X will get added equipment like blind-spot monitoring and hill descent control, while the luxury SL and Platinum Reserve models get NissanConnect services as standard.
