2018 Nissan Altima InteriorIn the 2018 Altima, Nissan introduces the use of Intelligent Mobility that will have you surrounded with confidence no matter where you're driving. With advanced driver assistance systems using Intelligent Mobility, you can easily spot potential hazards and avoid dangerous collisions. This model comes with three new assistance programs including Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Warning, and Intelligent Forward Collision Warning With Automatic Emergency Braking. The first of the four systems included in the 2018 Nissan Altima is Rear Cross Traffic Alert. When backing out of a parking space, it can be difficult to see when other cars quickly approach. This assistance system will detect and warn you of vehicles approaching from either side so you can quickly take notice and react accordingly. With the Blind Spot Warning features on the 2018 Nissan Altima, you can be aware of any cars hiding in your blind spot before making a move. This model allows for two easy warning systems which include door indicator lights and an alert on the Advanced Drive-Assist Display. In the event you put your turn signal on, the indicators will flash and emit a warning chime to ensure you are aware of cars in your blind spots. Keeping you and your passengers safe is always a priority for the makers at Nissan. This is why they've developed Intelligent Forward Collision and Automatic Emergency Braking. This system will monitor the distance and velocity of the vehicle directly in front of you. In the event the vehicle drastically reduces speed quickly, you will be alerted with both visual and audio cues. If you fail to react, the Automatic Emergency Braking System will slow down your vehicle to avoid a frontal collision.
