What's New for the 2018 Nissan Rogue?

Working as both an adventure vehicle and family car, the 2018 Nissan Rogue starts the year off with a few updates. To increase your ability to express yourself, Scarlet Amber and Midnight Pine are added as exterior colors while the Midnight Edition package for the SV trim highlights key crossover features in black. The dashboard display screen increases to 7 inches and merges support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto so you can add a compatible smartphone to the infotainment system. Loading and unloading the SV trim becomes more convenient, even when you're holding stuff in both hands, because of the motion-activated power liftgate that activates whenever you kick under the rear bumper. For safety, the SL trim includes Lane Departure Warning and Adaptive Cruise Control, which you can upgrade with the available SL Platinum package that includes Stop-and-Go Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keeping Assist as part of its ProPilot Assist system.

To keep you visible under the sun, the S trim includes Daytime Running Lights use long-lasting and energy-saving LEDs. At night, halogens cast a brilliant light to illuminate the way. Adding a flourish to the rear is a spoiler that also minimizes drag and increases down-force so your crossover hugs the road.

The SV trim expands your cargo capacity by including roof rails. Intelligent Automatic Headlights go on and off without your intervention by responding to changes in external lighting conditions. Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control gives separate comfort levels to you and your front passenger.

Announcing the Midnight Edition™ trim's darker and more stylish side is the unique Black Midnight Edition badge. Black accents part of the exterior including the outside mirrors with LED turn signal indicators and the Midnight Edition 17-inch alloy wheels.

With the SL trim, when Pedestrian Detection discovers a person in the path of the crossover, it can engage Automatic Emergency Braking to prevent an accident. Nissan Rogue Safety

2018 Nissan Rogue ExteriorWhen you back out of your garage, the improved rear camera shows a view of what's going on behind you. Rear Cross Traffic Alert adds more safety by warning you if you get close to exterior hazards. For a virtual 360-degree view of what's around you, opt for the available Intelligent Around-View Monitor, which merges its videos from the external front, rear and side cameras. When the rains make the highways slippery or off-road trail surface become uncertain, your crossover still grips the road firmly with the Traction Control System that gives you a firmer hand by reducing your speed. To avoid over or under steering, Vehicle Dynamic Control can engage the brakes on particular wheels while reducing your speed.
