What's New for the 2019 Nissan Sentra?

The 2019 version of the Nissan Sentra is largely the same as the 2018 model. The overall styling of the exterior is similar to the 2018 model. Under the hood, Nissan hasn't made any changes from the previous model year.

However, there are a few notable changes in the latest model for specific trim levels. In the Sentra SR, SL, and Nismo models, the NissanConnect infotainment system now comes standard. In the new SV Special Edition package, some aspects of the vehicle's exterior appearance have changed. It features larger wheels and body side sill extensions. It also has a spoiler with an LED brake light and a chrome exhaust tip finisher. The SV new model also comes with a power moonroof and lighted vanity mirrors.

In terms of performance, there aren't any notable changes in 2019. However, the 2019 model does have some new safety features such as a blind-spot monitor and rear cross-traffic alerts.

2019 Nissan Sentra Trims & Features

There are a total of six trims available for the 2019 Nissan Sentra: S, SV, SR and SL TECH, SR turbo, and Nismo.

The 2019 has a number of standard features: power heated exterior mirrors, six-way manually-adjustable driver's seat, MP3 player, speed sensitive volume control, remote keyless entry, exterior temperature display, and a trip computer.

There are some other notable features available including a power moonroof, a navigation system that includes voice recognition, heated front seats, an 8-speaker Bose audio system, and leather surfaces for seats. These features are available on all trim options.

One feature to note about this model is that the trunk is large, providing abundant storage space. However, taller drivers may have an issue with the limited headroom.

2019 Nissan Sentra Horsepower

2019 Nissan SentraThe 2019 Sentra has a regular unleaded I-4 1.8 liter engine with 124 horsepower at 6000 RPM and torque coming in at 125 ft-lb at 3600 RPM. The 2019 Sentra has a 13.2-gallon fuel tank and gets approximately 30 miles per gallon. The car is front wheel drive with CVT transmission (6-speed manual transmission is also available).

2019 Nissan SentraThe 2019 Sentra comes with all standard safety features including airbags, anti-lock brakes, and traction control. The Sentra also features a backup camera, tire pressure monitoring, and stability control.

The 2019 also comes with some other notable safety features: side impact beams, dual-stage driver and passenger seat-mounted side airbags, first and second-row curtain airbags, airbag occupancy sensors, a read child-safety locks.
