What's New For the 2019 Nissan Titan

With the full range of Nissan Titans available, it seems as if there's a truck for almost everyone. The 2019 trucks come with two new color options (Midnight Pine Metallic and Moab Sunset Metallic), a few cosmetic upgrades to the grille, and a 7-inch touchscreen that's compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and features the NissanConnectSM entertainment system. There are more USB ports built into the cabin so that you can stay fully charged and connected, and for audiophiles, there's a premium Fender sound system that's available on some models and standard on others.

2019 Nissan Titan has High-Tech Features

The base model is the single-cab Titan S 4x2, with the SV offering slightly more in terms of comfort, convenience, and technology. Either one of these can come in a 4x4 version to provide the traction you need in slippery conditions.

The trucks with more space have two rows of seating. The Crew Cab has five different trim levels: S, SV, PRO-4X, SL, and Platinum Reserve. The PRO-4X is exclusively sold as a 4x4 model, as it's designed for the trail and comes with off-road shock absorbers, LED projector headlamps, and black front tow hooks. The other versions come either as a 4x2 or 4x4 trucks.

With a Crew Cab S, you'll have a front manual split bench seat and a total of six cup holders. The vinyl floor and cloth seats with vinyl bolsters are easy to clean. The Crew Cab SV has cloth seats, floor carpeting, and an overhead console, among other features. The SL has leather-appointed seats, heated and power front seats, and auto dimming outside mirrors. At the top of the line is the Platinum Reserve Titan, which has premium leather-appointed seats, a heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, and exterior chrome accents.

By opting for the Midnight Edition Package on a Crew Cab SV or SL, you can get embellishments such as dark headlamps, a black fog lamp, black mirrors and door handles, and 20" black wheels that can give your truck a more custom look.

The King Cabs have even more room in the cabin, and they come in S, SV, and PRO-4X versions. They have seating to accommodate up to six people. To help you compare, the King Cab has a 6.5" bed, the Crew Cab has a 5.5" bed, and the Single Cab has a bed that stretches to 8 feet.

The engine uses "variable valve event and lift" technology, which incorporates hydraulic-controlled variable valve timing along with electronically controlled variable valve lift. The engine comes with direct injection gas technology that can improve economy and performance.

Impressive Safety Ratings & Features

2019 Nissan Titan Exterior RearA new safety feature on the King Cab and Crew Cab models is the Read Door Alert system. It reminds drivers to check the rear seats upon exiting the vehicle to ensure that nothing or no one is left behind inadvertently. It will only activate when the rear door has been opened and closed before a trip and not after the car has been turned off.

Other safety features include front and side air bags, anti-lock brakes, brake assist, traction control, and electronic stability control. Those control and assist programs can help the truck automatically make the necessary adjustments when the driver is about to lose control.
