What's New For the Nissan Sentra?
The 2020 Nissan Sentra is back, and it's better than ever thanks to some recent updates. This will be a seventh-generation update since the car reappeared on the market back in 2013. Nissan has matched a similar look of the 2020 Sentra with the brand's Maxima and Altima sedans. Consumers will notice this particular change immediately as the new Sentra will be wider, longer and lower to the ground.Â
When it comes to the vehicle's overall size, the Sentra will be an estimated 0.47 inches longer than its predecessor. In addition to that, this sedan will sport Nissan's V-Motion grille. Consumers can expect two distinct wheel types, including a basic hubcap wheel that's silver and a sportier two-tone wheel. The sedan's LEDs with come equipped with Daytime-Running lights, which will possess a boomerang shape. In other words, the 2020 Nissan Sentra will look much more like its larger counterparts.

What are the Nissan Sentra Trims & Features?
The 2020 Nissan Sentra offers an excellent exterior as well as multiple trim levels. This includes the trims of the S, SV, and SR. Unlike the smooth, flat surfaces of its previous models, the new Sentra has been constructed with more character. Of course, this character comes in the form of sharp edges and deep grooves. The vehicle's hood is well-sculpted as it flows down into the impressive front fascia. A new cabin can also be expected as this sedan will host a seven-inch instrument screen as well as plenty of storage space. There's a floating infotainment system in the center dash as well as circular air vents.
The base S features Intelligent Trace Control Cruise Control and a 7-inch touch screen. The SV has a standard 8-inch touch screen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Hands-Free Text Messaging Assistant. A remote engine start system, Dual-Zone Automatic Temperature Control and Intelligent Key with Push Button Ignition are other key features on this trim. The SR includes LED fog lights, 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, leather-wrapped shift knob, and sport cloth interior. Optional equipment includes a heated front seat, and steering wheel, a Bose premium audio system with eight speakers.Â
Raw Power and Stellar Performance
All Sentra trims are driven by the front wheels and feature a CV transmission. The 2020 Sentra has one engine across its three trims, a very capable 2.0-liter with four-cylinders, featuring 149 hp, and 145 lb-ft of torque.Â
Packed with Safety Features
When it comes to safety Nissan has you fully covered. The 2020 Sentra is no slouch in the safety department thanks to its use of radar-based sensors. These sensors will detect and alert you of any known road hazards that may be on the highway. Preventive safety is the name of the game. The new Sentra will come equipped with safety features, such as Blind Spot Warning, Forward-Collision Warning as well as Cross Traffic Alert. There's also Intelligent Driver Alert innovation that's built-in.
