What's New For the 2021 Nissan GT-R?
Nissan's high-performance supercar returns for 2021 with only a few updates. With Nissan reducing the number of trims on the new GT-R, last year's 50th Anniversary Edition and Track Edition trims are no longer available.
Available Features in the 2021 GT-R
There are two GT-R trims: Premium and NISMO. The Premium trim offers an incredible blend of performance luxury. You'll love this sports car's leather-appointed interior, which features heated front seats. Nissan also equips the Premium trim with some high-tech goodies. The standard 8.0-inch touchscreen features Apple CarPlay capability and built-in navigation. An 11-speaker Bose sound system and a multifunction driver display also come standard.
Featuring a track-focused suspension and carbon-fiber parts, the NISMO model is geared towards serious driving enthusiasts. You'll also notice the GT-R NISMO's more aggressive appearance, which is accentuated by a large rear wing. Meanwhile, an aerodynamic body kit helps increase downforce at high speeds.
How Much Power Does the Nissan GT-R Have?
Motivating the new GT-R is a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, which squeezes out 565 horsepower and 467 lb-ft of torque. However, special engine tuning enables the NISMO model to develop 600 horsepower. When accelerating from a dead stop, expect to hit 60 mph in less than 3.0 seconds. Both models feature the same six-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive comes standard, which gives you maximum traction regardless of the road conditions.
