What's New For the 2021 Nissan Kicks?
The Nissan Kicks mostly gets changes in the form of aesthetic differences for 2021. A modified exterior design gives the Kicks a refreshed appearance this year with new bumpers, a redesigned front grille, and some trim-specific changes such as two-tone color schemes and a contrasting-color roof on the SR trim level. The Kicks gets larger headlights for most trims, while the SR, which comes standard with LED lighting, has narrower lights this year for a more elegant and refined look. It also has a sportier back bumper to accentuate its integrated rear spoiler. The Kicks has wheels ranging in size from 16 to 17 inches with various finishes.
Which Trims & Features Are Available in 2021?
The 2021 Nissan Kicks has a lineup of three trims in 2021. The same trims that were available in 2020 return this year. The first of the three trim levels is the S. To start, the S has an assortment of paint choices. Its exterior includes automatic headlights, and it has 16-inch steel-coated wheels. With the base trim, you'll get a seven-inch infotainment screen with smartphone support and Bluetooth. The cabin receives three USB ports, and the back seats have a split-folding design.
The second trim is the SV, which adds more to the base trim's list of features. The SV has an enhanced infotainment system with an eight-inch display screen that adds Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This trim adds a driver's information center that provides up-to-the-minute information on the SV's performance. The SV replaces the base 16-inch wheels with larger 17-inch wheels that have an aluminum alloy coating.
The SR gets more safety technology. It is available with exclusive paint colors and a two-tone roof. While upgraded cloth seats are standard, you can choose to get simulated leather seats instead. The SR also has contrast stitching and the option for a two-tone interior color scheme. An upgraded audio system is available through a package, along with ventilated seats and a flat-bottom steering wheel.

2021 Nissan Kicks Powertrain Options
The 2021 Nissan Kicks has two options for power. The standard mechanical layout is a four-cylinder gasoline engine with a peak power capacity of just over 120 HP and a peak torque output of about 114 LB-FT. You can also choose a fuel-efficient hybrid system that produces about 130 HP. All three trims have front-wheel drive and an automatic transmission.
Kicks Safety at the Forefront
The Kicks is equipped with airbags for all occupants. It also has forward collision avoidance, cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning, pedestrian detection, and a panoramic monitor added to the top trim level.
