What's New For the 2021 Nissan Rogue?

The Rogue gets a complete makeover for 2021. The exterior receives a cosmetic redesign. On the inside, there's an all-new digital dashboard. This includes a heads-up display as well as a 9-inch touchscreen. The driving dynamics have been improved over previous models. The interior has been made more upscale. There is also a new top trim level called the Platinum model.

2021 Rogue Trims & Features

The previous trim levels all return for 2021 with the addition of the new Platinum model. The S trim is the base model. It comes equipped with Nissan's ProPilot, along with most of the driver-assist and safety features. Moving up to the SV trim gets you automatic climate control, keyless entry, and an upgraded, 6-speaker audio system.

The SL trim gives you larger, 19-inch alloy wheels. The front seats now have leather-trimmed upholstery. The audio system is upgraded once again to a premium system by Bose. The Platinum model will get genuine leather upholstery for all seats. Also new for the Platinum are heated seats, a heated steering wheel, and tri-zone climate control

Perhaps unique new additions to the Platinum model will be a massive, 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 10.8-inch driver-info display. Also included will be a wireless charging pad. All trim levels will get Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility in 2021.

All 2021 models of the Nissan Rogue will come equipped with an upgraded 2.5-liter, I-4 engine. This engine produces 181 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque. That's a nice increase from the previous models. This should allow better acceleration from a dead stop and better passing power on the highway.

This engine comes paired with a smooth-working continuously-variable transmission. All-wheel drive will be available for most trim levels. Along with the excellent engine performance, these features give the latest Rogue nice driving dynamics.

According to Nissan, the 2021 Rogue has more safety equipment and driver-assist technology than any other vehicle in its class. On the high-tech end, there is the Rogue ProPilot Assist with Navi-link. This is part of the more exceptional Nissan Intelligent Mobility systems.
