The 2023 Nissan Ariya is a compact crossover SUV with four doors accommodating up to five people. It has a roomy interior and the newest technological amenities, including dual 12.3-inch screens and a hands-free driving mode on some highways. It can travel roughly 300 miles on a full charge, which is a respectable amount for this class of EV.
What's New for the 2023 Nissan Ariya?
Nissan's Ariya is an entirely new car. Nissan's improved driver-assistance technology, ProPilot 2.0, is featured in the vehicle. The car is claimed to have a range of up to 304 miles, but only when fitted with the front-wheel-drive setup and the larger 87.0-kWh battery pack.
What Are the 2023 Trims & Features?
The Nissan Ariya has six trims: Engage, Venture+, Evolve+, Empower+, Premiere, and Platinum+. The Engage trim has a standard battery pack, 19-inch wheels, power-folding and heated mirrors, a power-adjustable driver's seat, simulated leather upholstery, a head-up display, heated front, and second-row seats. The Venture+ trim features an extended-range battery. However, some functions you would otherwise get with Engage are excluded. These include the head-up display, the power-adjustable and heated seats, and the simulated leather upholstery with cloth upholstery.
The Evolve+ trim has a panoramic sunroof, power liftgate, LED foglights, automatic windshield wipers, a digital rearview mirror and surround-view camera system, a wireless charging pad, and an extended-range battery. The Empower+ trim is almost identical to the Evolve+ but has an automated parking system, advanced adaptive cruise control, and limited hands-free highway driving. The Premiere only adds 19-inch wheels, illuminated kick plates, and a single-motor front-wheel-drive configuration. The Platinum trim is top of the line with a standard dual-motor configuration, 20-inch wheels, leather upholstery, active noise cancellation, ambient interior lighting, ventilated front seats, a power-adjustable steering wheel, and a 10-speaker Bose audio system.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2023 Ariya Have?
The Ariya's base model has a 63-kWh battery pack. It can be combined with a single front-wheel-drive electric motor to give 214 horsepower or an all-wheel-drive dual-motor system to deliver 335 horsepower. For front-wheel and all-wheel drive, the range on a full charge is approximately 216 miles and 205 miles, respectively. With the extended-range battery, you get 238 horsepower with front-wheel drive and 389 with all-wheel drive.
