Buying a new car is a big financial commitment. To make you feel more relaxed about your purchase, Nissan covers its new models with a factory standard warranty. There are several warranties included in Nissan's protection plan. They provide coverage for components in the powertrain, emissions system, and safety equipment. Nissan includes a comprehensive basic Limited Warranty covering replacement and repair costs for original parts throughout your new vehicle. Extra protection is also available from Trophy Nissan through supplemental MPP plans.

New Vehicle Limited Warranty

The New Vehicle Limited Warranty provides basic coverage for your vehicle for up to 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. This warranty is comprehensive and is designed to cover the cost of repairing or replacing original components that are defective due to defects in materials or faulty workmanship during the course of normal use. 

Corrosion Coverage Warranty

For the first 60 months of ownership, Nissan provides corrosion coverage for any body sheet metal panels damaged from rust perforation under normal circumstances, regardless of miles driven. Perforation is a condition in which any body sheet metal panel has corroded from one surface through to another. 

Powertrain Warranty

The Powertrain Warranty for new Nissan vehicles is valid for 60 months or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. It covers costs associated with repairing faulty parts or replacing defective components in your car's powertrain. This coverage includes the engine, transmission, drivetrain, and some safety equipment.

Emissions Warranties

Emissions systems are also covered by Nissan's factory warranties. The Emission Performance warranty will remedy any issue in your vehicle which causes it to fail an approved emissions test during the first 24 months or 24,000 miles, whichever occurs first. The Emission Defects warranty covers any repairs needed to correct defects in materials or workmanship which would cause your vehicle not to meet applicable emission standards. This warranty is for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. In addition, certain vital emission components are covered for up to 8 years or 80,000 miles, whichever occurs first. MPP Plans

In addition to the standard warranties on new cars, Trophy Nissan also offers supplemental MPP coverage plans for owners who want even more protection for their vehicles.
