The Rogue has been a huge success for Nissan, gaining widespread popularity with its unique combination of refined performance, versatile storage space and passenger room, which is maximized with the available third-row seat. Another key strength of Rogue is its wealth of technologies, which it offers even more of for the 2016 model year!
When the 2016 Nissan Rogue makes its way to the Dallas area, here are the new updates you can expect to see:
- An attractive and sporty Magnetic Black hue has been added as an exterior color choice.
- The Rogue S Appearance Package gains body-color side mirrors with integrated turn signals, as well as sparkling new chrome door handles, which enhance the exterior’s already upscale look.
- The SV Premium Package gains Siri Eyes Free, which can be used by iPhone users with compatible devices. Siri can handle a multitude of tasks, with advanced natural voice recognition capabilities. Additionally, the package includes a Blind Spot Warning System that is now radar rather than camera-based.
- Nissan Rogue SL trims add several standard features, including Siri Eyes Free and a Motion-Activated Power Liftgate for hands-free hatch opening. NissanConnect Services powered by SiriusXM has also been added and provides a wide range of security, maintenance monitoring and remote access features, like remote start and remote door lock/unlock for example.
- The 2016 Rogue SL Premium Package gains a new frontal collision-avoidance system with automatic braking ability. The system, officially known as Forward Emergency Braking (FEB), uses radar technology to determine how fast the vehicles ahead are moving and how close they are. When it identifies a risk for collision, it warns the driver to apply the brakes, and if it doesn’t detect that action is being taken it engages the brakes on the driver’s behalf.
