Will My Warranty Cover My Repairs?
Depends on your warranty type. Eg, warranty for a brand-new car vs certified-preowned may vary. Your warranty likely covers mechanical issues under the hood that aren't caused by damage or a lack of maintenance. We can help review your warranty to determine what it covers and the timeframe of when the repairs can be performed.
How Often Does Nissan Recommend an Oil Change?
It's preferred that you get an oil change every 5,000 to 10,000 miles or every six months, depending on the type of oil used. Vehicles that drive more or are used in severe weather conditions require more frequent oil changes. Refer to your owner's manual for best recommendations. Nissan models that require synthetic oil can go for longer periods of time in between oil changes, specifically every 7,500 miles or every 12 months.
When Should I Replace My Tires?
It's important to replace your tires when there's approximately 2/32” of depth left to ensure there's proper traction under all four wheels. You can also perform the penny test, which requires putting a penny upside down in the tread. If the top of Lincoln's head is visible on the coin then it's a sign that the tires need to be replaced.
Do I Have to Pay For a Recall?
Any needed repair costs due to recalls are covered by the automaker because the defects typically are due to issues during the manufacturing process. The owner of the vehicle is notified via mail or email about the recall and has a specific timeframe of when they can bring the car in for the necessary repairs. If you wait too long to schedule an appointment, then you may need to pay for the costs.
What Services Does Your Maintenance Department Cover?
At our service department, the services that we offer to our customers include wheel alignment, brake repair or replacement, transmission repair, AC repair, windshield repair, battery replacement, and more but feel free to contact us if you’re still unsure. We'll work to perform the necessary maintenance or repairs to increase the lifespan and operation of the car.
